I just ly here thinking... thinking of times to come.
Thinking of when my little boy will
sit up and smile.
Giggle and laugh
gets up and takes his first step
I hope it won't come to fast
I want my time with him now to last
He is so young and small
his tiny hands and toes still unsure
can't quite grab and pull yet still tries.

Getting You Up To Date
Well Kannon came to us on July 30 2008...
The labor was hard and painful and after 17 hours the doctor decided to do a Cesarean.
Both Kannon and I had infections from having such a long labor and my poor little Kannon was put in the ICU.

He also had a bit of a breathing problem from the Cesarean and taking his first breath wrong.
The breathing problem went away in 24 hours and he had to have antibiotics for three days...
My little trooper was strong and was completely healed when we left the hospital 5 days later.... We were so happy.....

THE FIRST MONTH.......
We were wrecks the first night. We checked him every minute to make sure he was ok.
Every little noise he made made us jump out of bed to see him.....
He was so little and precious and he was ours.
We felt warmth to our hearts that cant be explained. Our whole lives had changed and felt like the happiest people in the world.
When we looked in Kannon's eyes the world stopped, The sun and moon paused and a twinkle from his eye sent our emotions into overdrive. We laughed and cried at the same time when he first smiled at us. That was around 4 weeks.
MONTH 2 AND 3.......
Those little toes and little fingers got chubby and another chin popped up. His little eyes started to focus on what will be his world.. He noticed things a little more.
When he wakes in the morning And sees us he smiles and grins. He started cooing and chewing his little tounge.
He found his thumb. It was the cutest thing in the world.
